My Friday Five – Favorite Fall Things + KitchenAid Mixer Giveaway

My Friday Five – Favorite Fall Things + KitchenAid Mixer Giveaway

Happy Friday! Whooo… it’s been a week! Yesterday I thought it was Wednesday all day, and I could really use that extra day. I’ll still welcome the weekend with open arms. It’s finally feeling like fall outside with all the leaves changing and consistently cooler temps, so I thought I’d give a high five to my favorite fall things.

1 | Fall Baking Bonanza – I love baking all year long, but I really get in my groove in the fall with all things pumpkin spice. I just posted a round up of my All Time Favorite Pumpkin Spice Recipes including Grandma Ardi’s Pumpkin Bars with Cream Cheese Frosting. Honestly you can’t beat the classics and this recipe is the best!

2 | Mixed Up Madness – I really upped my baking game a few years ago when I finally bought a KitchenAid stand mixer. I had wanted one for oh so long! If you’ve always wanted one too, now might be your chance! I announced yesterday that I’ll be giving one away just in time for Holiday baking season. You can enter through the Rafflecopter widget below. Good luck!

3 | Color Wonder – I feel like a little kid every time I’m driving around and finding a new tree with more vibrant color than the day before. Big thumbs up to Mother Nature! One of my favorites is still these ombre looking trees that I took a picture last year by my old office. I need to snap a few pics of the beauties in our local park soon before they fall off

4 | Cozy Clothes
– Since starting to work from home back in January, my work wear has done a complete 180. Most days now you’ll find me in workout clothes rather than dresses and cardigans. Since I do periodically have to run an errand during the day, it’s nice to have a few items that are slightly more stylish than my fleece sweatshirts. I’m loving this asymmetrical sweatshirt jacket.

5 | Halloween Throwback – Carter has decided to be Obi Wan Kenobi this year. He’s going to wear this costume from Amazon along with a Jedi cape my mom made him last year. He was Luke Skywalker when he was 4 – the force is strong with this one! I’m not sure if my hair is long enough for the princess Leia buns again, but I had to share our pic from Halloween a few years past.

This weekend we have soccer, pumpkin patching (is that a word? likely not!) and carving planned, and a few other odds and ends. Whatever you’re up to, enjoy!
