This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Kohler for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
This weekend I was on a quest at Home Depot to find tile backsplash options for our kitchen. It’s one of our last home improvement projects we’d like to do before selling our house (aside from a little painting and staining here and there) As often happens, I found myself dreaming of possibilities for our (hopefully) soon-to-be next home and ended up meandering the aisles looking at everything from lighting, to appliances, to kitchen faucets.
Last week I shared our must have and wish list items for our house search, and very high on that list is a more spacious and much better laid out kitchen than what we have today. Whether we buy, build, or buy and remodel, the kitchen layout is the most important, but then I’ll start with the details like sink, faucet and lighting. It’s amazing to me how these details can really help set the stage for an overall design.
I’ve long been a fan of Kohler faucets, we have one in our kitchen and love the versatility of both the stream and spray functions and the flexible head to help with so many different clean up jobs. Kohler has a new collection exclusive to the Home Depot, which I got to check out first hand on my recent visit. Not only are they beautiful and functional, but affordable (ranging from $199-$249).
I’d consider my own style as “Urban Classic”, an updated traditional look mixed with vintage elements. I’m not all-in on farmhouse style, but I do like the look of this apron sink, which pairs perfectly with the Kohler Worth Kitchen Faucet. They’re both simple designs that can go across many design styles. The faucet comes in both brushed nickel and bronze. Honestly, I’d be a little torn! This has gone on my Dream Kitchen Pinterest board. And hello, look at those Arabesque tiles! I don’t think I can convince Todd to go with those, he has much more traditional taste. a girl can dream though, right?
This industrial beauty is the Kohler Sous Kitchen Faucet. It’s like a piece of art, but it looks like it will run your kitchen like a boss! I’m not sure it fits with my own style, but I almost wish it did. We have friends who have a similar stainless steel backsplash, which looks amazing in person, and would look even better with the Sous!
The Kohler Trielle Kitchen Faucet could really fit into about any design style with it’s clean, sleek lines. It comes in three finishes to provide even more versatility. This one is similar to what we have in our kitchen today, not exactly the same model but very close. The backsplash in this shot is so funky and fun. The Trielle faucet balances it out nicely.
All three faucets feature:
- Soap/lotion dispenser and a 3-hole sink adapter plate (I love this in our current faucet! I originally though the dispenser might be leaky, but it works perfectly).
- Scratch shield technology.
- Quality materials for durability you’d expect from Kohler.
- DIY-friendly installation
Apparently, home improvement shopping is a lot like dress shopping for a special event. You always find everything BUT what you’re looking for! On my shopping trip, I couldn’t decide on any tile, but I did find a faucet, lighting, and even lumber for another project.
