My Friday Five – Football, Flannel, Fall Fun!

My Friday Five – Football, Flannel, Fall Fun!

Hooray for Friday… another week gone by in a flash!

1 | Pumpkin Patch Fun – one of our favorite things to do each fall is visit a local pumpkin patch. This was our first year going to the Pumpkin Ranch in Winterset. It was over 80 degrees the day we went, so I think everyone was taking advantage of the warmer than normal fall weather – it was packed! We still had a great time. They had a lot of activities aside from pumpkin picking, including an obstacle course, slides, jumping pillow, zip line and corn maze.

2 | Roasted Pumpkin Seeds – We haven’t carved our pumpkins yet, but I’m already looking forward to roasted pumpkin seeds.

3 | Hawks Win! Last Saturday, Todd and I went to Iowa City to cheer on the Hawkeyes in their homecoming game. It’s always a great time to see friends, especially when they top it off with a win. 6-0 for the season baby!

4 | Fashion Rewind – One “old is new again” fashion trend I can get on board with is flannel shirts! Now, if I had only kept some of my favorites from college, I wouldn’t have to buy this adorable flannel tunic from Modcloth.

5 | Travelin’ South – We’re headed to Austin in November. Any recommendations on what to see, do and eat?

Have a good weekend all (or should I be practicing and saying y’all?)
