Happy Friday! My week was filled mostly with a work trip to New York City. I was traveling with a few co-workers this time, so it was fun to enjoy dinner and some shopping together rather than flying solo in the city.
1 | View from the Top | Our office is on the upper floors of a building in midtown Manhattan, and the corner conference room we called home base for the week has a great view.
2 | Feasting Fun | I rarely eat at the same restaurant twice in New York for dinner. So many choices, why limit yourself! I tried two new ones this time around. Hillstone and Craftbar.

3 | Dish Kitsch | I’ve been wanting to hit up Fishs Eddy for awhile and finally got a chance on this trip. This place is a treasure trove of great staple and vintage dishes as well as kitschy home goods. We had so much fun perusing the merch. I bought a few Christmas gifts/stocking stuffers. If I had more room in my bags, I could have purchased so much more!
4 | Sweet Endings | Chocolates on the the bed after turn down service area always a welcome site and great end to the day!
5 | Home Sweet Home | It’s so nice to be able to keep up through Facetime and pictures from home while traveling. Todd sent me a bedtime message, and then Todd sent me a hilarious picture of Carter’s slipper feet sticking out. For some reason this reminds me Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz!
While I like having the opportunity to travel once in a while, it’s always great to be home! We’re gearing up for school to start in a couple of weeks, so school supply shopping and some family fun are in store this weekend. Have a good one!
